Updated images (_latest) provided on 2016-10-04. The major changes to the previous versions are:

  • Images include the latest updates from 2016-09-30
  • Updated uvp-monitor
  • Timezone no longer preconfigured for Europe but default UTC
  • Set parameter back to default net.ipv4.tcp_timestamps=1

Updated images provided on 2016-09-08. The major changes to the previous versions are:

  • Images include the latest updates from cw36
  • Timezone no longer preconfigured for Europe but default UTC. Pass timezone: Europe/Amsterdam in user meta-data to set CET/CEST timezone. (Don't forget the #cloud-config headerline.)
  • Use SMT repository mirror server for more repos, so local updates are more complete. Also add commented out upstream URLs for situations where mirror is unavailable (testbed).
  • Updated uvp-monitor and (where required) xen kernel drivers (uvpmod).
  • Included ixgbevf-2.16.4 driver for CentOS-7, SLES11 and SLES12 for enhanced network performance (will only work with disk-intensive flavors).
  • Added SLES11_SP4_SAPHANA and SAPHANA_NFS images, leveraging ixgbevf and xen-scsi drivers (the latter from uvpmodsh).
  • Added missing network config for NICs 1--11 on some images.
  • Hint to change the default password for user linux.

  • DiskImageBuilder builds with Fedora23+24 and Debian8.
