OTC Public Images Release Notes October 2022

Discontinue Fedora 34

OTC public image Standard_Fedora_34 will be discontinued on 28th December 2022.

what does that mean?

public images will be no longer listed in OTC public image list

  • Standard_Fedora_34_latest
  • Standard_Fedora_34_prev  

OTC internal package repositories preconfigured in Standard_Fedora_34_latest images will be available until 31th March 2023. https://imagefactory.otc.t-systems.com/package-repositories

  Already existing ECS installed with one of these images

  • existing ECS installed with one of these images can be reinstalled
  • existing ECS installed with one of these images can be used to create a new ECS  

A new ECS can still be installed with a discontinued image by using its image id directly. Using a discontinued image is without OTC support.

It is recommended to migrate existing ECS to

  • Standard_Fedora_36_latest
