Linux

GPU NVIDIA + CUDA image based on Ubuntu 20.04 released

New NVIDA Ubuntu 20.04 image prepared with NVIDA and CUDA now is available as public image in OTC

  • Standard_Ubuntu_20.04_GPU_NV_latest

It is based on OTC public image Standard_Ubuntu_20.04_latest and extended by

  • NVIDIA driver
  • CUDA

Available for GPU flavors based on NVIDIA Tesla T4 graphic cards:

  • pi2

About NVIDA integration:

Prepared NVIDA drivers does not include NVIDIA licensed features.
Also licensed features can not unlocked by OTC team.
If licensed features are required, special nvidia-drivers needs to be installed by own.

Running nvidia driver can be checked by nvidia-smi tool:

Running processes using GPU ressources are listed here as well, or can directly be seen by

Here we see some processes requesting GPU ressources by using CUDA integration (type 'C').

CentOS Stream 9 released

General Availability(GA) – Alma and Rocky Linux Images are General Available(GA) on OTC

  • GA Image Name: Standard_Alma_8_latest & Standard_Rocky_8_latest

    • Alma and Rocky Linux will be GA on OTC from April 2022
    • Supported flavors - https://imagefactory.otc.t-systems.com/flavor-images
    • Alma and Rocky Linux GA images will be published in April 2022. "Preview" images will not be published however, “Preview” images would be available until May 2022.
    • It is recommended for existing customers to use the “Preview” Images with the Image ID.
    • Alma and Rocky Linux distribution information and Release Notes available at respective distribution links.
