Linux
New image released: Ubuntu 24.04
- Default login user: ubuntu
New image is available as
- Standard_Ubuntu_24.04_amd64_bios_latest
- Standard_Ubuntu_24.04_amd64_uefi_latest
- Standard_Ubuntu_24.04_amd64_bios_GPU_latest
Choose between bios or uefi version to decide the boot variant of ECS server.
Not all flavors supports both boot variants.

End of Life Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.10 Image - June 2024
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.10 images reaches it’s official End of Life status on the 30th of June 2024 link.
As of this date, OTC public images for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.10 are no longer updated anymore and are being hidden from web console. At the same time the OTC support for those images are no longer valid:
- Enterprise_RedHat_6_prev
- Enterprise_RedHat_6_latest
End of Service EulerOS-2.5 Image - June 2024
EulerOS-2.5 (EulerOS V2R7C00) images reaches it’s official End of Service status on the 30th of June 2024 link.
As of this date, OTC public images for EulerOS-2.5 are no longer updated anymore and are being hidden from web console. At the same time the OTC support for those images are no longer valid:

End of Maintenance Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Image - June 2024
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 images reaches it’s official End of Maintenance (EOM) status on the 30th of June 2024 link. As of this date, OTC public images for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 will transitioning from EOM to Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS). ELS is guaranteed for 4 more years til 30th June 2028 link + link.

As of this date, OTC public images for CentOS Stream 8 are no longer updated anymore and are being hidden from web console. At the same time the OTC support for those images are no longer valid:

Please switch/migrate to one of the following images as soon as possible:
