Windows images for Open Telekom Cloud
Section titled “Windows images for Open Telekom Cloud”Windows self-managed images are provided as public Images in the Open Telekom Cloud.
Windows Server Image Content
Section titled “Windows Server Image Content”OTC Windows Server Images are built on native Microsoft ISO images
It is a default OS installation with:

System disk of min 40 GB

Hardware drivers for KVM (VirtIO-Win)

RDP enabled

latest Microsoft quality rollups and security patches

German and English keyboard

Page file set to fixed size of 8GB

.net Framework 4.8 (Windows Server 2016 and 2019 only)

Chocolatey client

Cloudbase-Init agent installation and sysprep started
During ECS deployment server configuration is finished:

sysprep finished

host name and password is configured by cloudbase-init

winrm is enabled and configured by cloudbase-init
-
timezone configuration of OTC platform location

time synchronization with ntp server of OTC public service zone

server activation with KMS of OTC public service zone

Windows Update configured for automatic download and installation of updates from WSUS of OTC public service zone

Windows Defender configured to update pattern from WSUS of OTC public service zone

NVIDIA driver installation as Chocolatey package (on GPU flavors only)

Regular Updates
