Discontinue Fedora 33

OTC public image Standard_Fedora_33 will be discontinued on 30th April 2022.

what does that mean?

public images will be no longer listed in OTC public image list

  • Standard_Fedora_33_latest
  • Standard_Fedora_33_prev  

OTC internal package repositories preconfigured in Standard_Fedora_33_latest images will be available until 31th July 2022.

  Already existing ECS installed with one of these images

  • existing ECS installed with one of these images can be reinstalled
  • existing ECS installed with one of these images can be used to create a new ECS  

A new ECS can still be installed with a discontinued image by using its image id directly.
Using a discontinued image is without OTC support.

It is recommended to migrate existing ECS to

  • Standard_Fedora_35_latest
